Las Cañitas is a small territorial appendix of Palermo that, nevertheless, has a life of its own. The area has a good number of nightspots like pubs, discos, and bars. It is one of the favorite areas to sleep in Buenos Aires by people with a party spirit. Not everything is a party in Las Cañitas. Over time the real estate offer has expanded and the area has become somewhat residential with elegant buildings and towers. In addition, Las Cañitas is an area adjacent to several shopping centers. Even in the same area, there is a well-known shopping mall: El Solar de la Abadía. Las Cañitas has the advantage of being close to the race course and the Argentine Polo field. It is also a strategic point because of its proximity to the best tourist attractions of other neighborhoods: from Las Cañitas it is close to the Bosques de Palermo, the Rosedale Park and the Japanese Garden (the largest and most majestic Japanese style garden in Latin America).
